Ascension to Ten is a podcast started by three childhood friends, Spenny, JAD, and Bry. This concept for this podcast started in 2014. There was a limited Syfy channel series called Ascension. Spenny was very excited about the show and was hyping it up to their close group of friends. The show came out and no one watched it, EXCEPT Spenny. That poor schmuck watched it all. It got worse and worse as he watched it. Spenny proceeded to tell JAD and Bry how terrible it was and no one else ever watched it. After this debacle, the rating system Ascension to 10 was developed. Our goal with this podcast is to entertain and give you an opportunity to take a journey with us into the movies lost or purposely forgotten.

Spencer Robbins
Spenny is a businessman during the day and a SciFi fan by night. He grew up in a family full of sci-fi and has fond memories of watching Star Trek Next Generation and Farscape with his dad and watching countless movies of aliens, spaceships, and adventure. He found Sci-Fi through the film, but as he’s gotten older, he’s explored the Sci-fi book genre. He tends to see bad movies and suffer through them instead of turning them off. He hopes his kids will enjoy Sci-fi like he did growing up.
Jordan Anderson-Daniels
Young JAD fell in love with space, science, and math after countless reruns of Star Trek. While he thought he would be an astronaut, JAD became a scientist and got his space fix on sci-fi shows, movies, and books. He stays grounded with a good Golden Girls rerun and enjoys laughing at bad movies with his friends.
Bryan Wehrkamp
Bry became a fan of Sci-fi and oddities in movies at a young age. In his younger years, he spent many days watching Wizard of Oz and fueling his curiosity about the unusual. Today, Bry is a musical artist, always finding new sounds to entertain his audience. He continues to explore the realm of sci-fi through reading books, watching films, and laughing while he listens to JAD and Spenny while he edits the show.
